DIDWW launches innovative Configuration Profile Rules
Global telecommunication provider, DIDWW, has always focused on providing its customers with the most efficient solutions to their communication needs. Now, DIDWW is pleased to be launching a brand new feature to enhance its user interface even further by introducing automated Configuration Profile Rules.
Although DIDWW has had a configuration profile section for a while, allowing its users to create as many configuration profiles as required for their virtual numbers (DIDs), this new feature automates the complicated process. Instead of assigning a configuration profile for every new number manually, the new rules section allows users to automatically assign their specific configuration profiles to their DIDs on either a per-location or a number-type basis.
This automated process has been introduced to save DIDWW customers significant amounts of time, with the platform now capable of completing all of the technical and often time-consuming tasks for them. To create a new Configuration Profile Rule, all customers need to do is log into their User Dashboard and navigate to the Configuration Profiles section. From there, they can create multiple rules that will apply the selected configuration profiles to users’ DIDs based on indicated criteria, such as Country, Region within a country, specific City and even narrowing it down to the Number Type.
Alongside automating the process, the new Configuration Profile Rules are also highly functional, particularly when a specific trunk configuration or channel capacity group is preferable. Open to all DIDWW API 3 users, more information about the rules can be found here.
